Any hidden travel destination in California?
Posted by admin
I live in california so have been to the so called "top 15 travel destinations" multiple times. I’m craving for something new, unseen and good for a couple. Any suggestions?
Look into the Lost Coast, in Humboldt County. Quiet, solitude, and some incredible scenery. During prohibition it was a frequent stop for rumrunners.

California travel: Yosemite vs. Redwood National Park–which do you prefer?
Posted by admin
We are visiting California in the Summer. We can only take one long drive from San Francisco. Our choices are Yosemite OR Redwood National Park. Which do you prefer, and why? Which offers more? Which is more majestic and will offer better camera shots?
Thanks!
Yosemite is one of the most unique places on earth. It’s one of those places you must see before you die. There is much more to do and see there.

If you want stunning vistas, Yosemite is the place. Glacier Point is breathtaking.

Due to the snowfall we’ve had this year, the summer melt should keep the waterfalls running in spectacular fashion all summer long.

For big trees, there are groves of Giant Sequoias in Yosemite. Mariposa Grove has some of the largest trees on earth, larger than the redwoods.

After you visit the Yosemite Valley, Mariposa Grove, and Glacier Point, if you have the time, drive across the park on CA 120. It takes you to the east entrance to Lee Vining near Mono Lake. The lake is in a caldera of an extinct volcano. CA 120 crosses Tioga Pass, the highest vehicle pass in CA. You climb thousands of feet on a mountain road and reach the Alpine meadows of Tuolumne.

Any good place to travel alone in Southern California region?
Posted by admin
I am 24 years old girl looking to travel alone for day or two during my day off.
I live in Los Angeles region and was wondering if anyone knew where I can go for relaxing day or two away from the stressful life (Southern California region).
Santa Barbara is a cool town with a great vibe. You can feel comfortable there. For a relaxing trip, take the train.
San Diego is good, too. Once again, take the train.
do i need a passport to travel from pennsylvania to california?

i’m not an american citizen, i am a green card holder do i need a passport to travel from pennsylvania to california?
No, there’s no need to show your passport when you travel domestically in the US, even if you are a tourist. But sometimes they ask you for an ID when you board. A passport could satisfy such need.
How would I find a job that involves travel between California and Texas?
Posted by admin
I currently live in Ontario, CA but have family in the Dallas area and would love to find a job that involves some travel between the two places if possible. I work as an IT Manager, if that helps. Thanks!
Yes, but how do I find an IT job that specifically involves travel between the two states? I.E. has headquarters in both states, or at least main offices?
A job for an airline or other type travel business. Like a travl provider company, sometimes they are looking for IT managers.
OR you may want to look into attending a school for a stuartess or ticketing position.
What would be the cheapest way to travel within california?

I’m not sure what the best mode of travel would be. I’m trying to get from San Jose area down to Santa Ana/Aneheim. Thanks!
Bus its legal and local.
Or you could look online for a drive share where you help drive and pay for gas.
lastly you could apply to do a drive and drop for car shippers they
hire you to drive a car from your area to the area near where you want to go its a good chance there is a drive and drop car needing
transported to L.A for a couple cruising wanting their car at the port when they get off the cruise. Check with car porters.
Illegally you could hitch a ride by hitchhiking but its very dangerous
remember Dahlmer picked up his victims so did the green river killer and Ted bundy so if your a woman your not safer by hitching.
try a truck driver or moving over nighter company that might share a trip
with you so he can sleep some of the night for free you drive while he snoozes so he can return right away and do another job.
cheers
