Family trip to California coming up; wondering about State park camping in So Cal or good cheap hotels?
Posted by admin
We’re driving down the Pacific Coast highway route, and are looking to spend about 10 days in the So Cal area. We’ve reserved state park camp sites on our way down, but not sure about the Orange County area. Anyone have any good tent camping recommendations or inexpensive motel/hotel recommendations? Thanks!
you can get a 3 day 2 night hotel in tons of locations if you check out this site. They offer high quality hotels & are giving away airfare passes too. i’ve used them myself & always recommend them for dirt cheap deals
What are the Disneyland Grand California Hotel AP Room Rates?
Posted by admin
Are you an annual passholder for Disneyland? I am signing up for one when I go in either Oct or Nov. We would like to stay at the Grand California hotel at the Annual Passholder room rates. I can not view that area of the website yet because I am not yet a passholder. Can a current passholder look on the website under that area and see what rates they have for Oct and Nov 2010. A screen shot would be gr8t!
Grand Cali October standard rates are 342 view rooms 398 and concierge is 599. November ranges from 342-450. The most expensive being the week of Thanksgiving.
I highly recommend this hotel. Once you stay there you will never stay anywhere else.
Just to let you know in order to get the AP rate you must show your Annual pass upon check in.
Have fun!
I’m Looking for Casual Hotels in Southern California for a Cheap or Decent Price.?

Some people say there are Hotels that Pay by Hour and Pay by Days that (Are not only used as a "Love hotel") and that can be pretty Cheap and pretty casual (in the way, it’s not so fancy and overwhelming).
So, as I travel all in about California, when I Don’t have a home to stay in, I was wondering if anyone knew a good place to stay for either a couple hours or a couple days in Southern California.
You can pick up hotel coupon book or roomsaver from Union Station near rental car counter, and get a motel room for around $39 in Hollywood blvd near 101 or other places in Socal under $50 per night.
No hotel charges by hour, you must have valid ID to get a room.
Inexpensive Antioch California Hotels?
Posted by admin
Does anyone know of any really inexpensive hotels in or near Antioch, CA? They don’t need to be chain hotels or even nice hotels. Just need a place to crash for a night next weekend.
I’m not a AAA member, and I’m looking for a room that doesn’t cost more than 50 a night. It can be in Martinez, Antioch, Pittsburg, Brentwood or Oakley.
Are you a AAA member? The tourbook would be of great help on this. Does it have to be Antioch? Could you push on to Concord or Walnut Creek?
How to get a good deal at the Disneyland Grand California Hotel?
Posted by admin
My family and I would like to stay at the Disneyland Grand California hotel, but for two adults and two kids for a one-night stay (not including the tickets to the theme park), the total comes to $440, which is a bit much. Is there any possible way I could get a better deal? Any website I could go to?
Thanks in advanced!
well you can do the Disney Vacation Club. It’s like a point system time share if you go to Disney a lot. It’s a really good deal.
or
Try looking on Kayak.com for vacation packages with included airfare.
or
you could make connections or friends with someone who works in Disneyland. I’m a Disney World employee "cast member" and I get 60% off hotels & free park admission around the world
Any good cheap rate hotels near West Hollywood California?

My friends and I are looking for a good rate hotel in or near West Hollywood.
I am visiting during spring break to visit UCLA so Id rather be close by to that, and I have gone to expedia, cheaptickets, hotels, and priceline. I cant find anything good, so maybe someone who lives there know of any good priced ones?
key places, Hollywood & Highland center, and UCLA. so please something nearby.
we wont be renting a car so it cant be like 60 miles away.
thanks
Your best bets are Econo Lodge Inn & Suites West Hollywood or Saharan Motor Hotel.

Days Inn California hotels? California hotels?

I had a great stay this past weekend at one of the Days Inn California hotel’s. They offer very good service, really helpfull, and nice!!.. Their rooms are clean, cozy, and comfortable. I got a great deal from their website http://www.daysinncalifornia.com/. Check it out!!
They are not just in California.
I’ve stayed in many while traveling across the country.
Only once, in Florida, was the room not acceptable.
As a company they do seem to usually be clean and friendly.

Honeymoon in California. Romantic hotels at decent price.?
Posted by admin
We’re wanting to take out honeymoon in Cali, and was wondering which hotels are the most beautiful, romantic.. Without paying 300 dollars a night. We’ve waited a very long time and I’d love for our first night together to be somewhere that just feels romantic. So give me your best ideas!!!
i think San Fran is the most beautiful city of all. there is no need to pay 300 a night for a hotel. try bidding for a hotel. any four star property will be nice. bid low . alternativly, try calling hotels and see if they have a honeymoon rate. some hotels will upgrade a couple , at the last minute if there is one available and they are aware it is a honeymoon or anniversary. hotels really like to do this for a honeymoon though. most honeymooners are just starting out and a great memory makes them a loyal customer for life.
