Do you know any California hotels under $100 a night close by DisneyLand?
Posted by admin
It doesnt have to be a really nice hotel. Just a hotel. it needs to be tops $100 a night close by Disneyland. Do you know any??
I stayed at this hotel last year: http://www.pavilionshotel.com/
I just did a price check and it’s $95 a night, sometimes they have promotions. I think I paid $85 a night when I went last September. We took a car so the free parking was a plus.
They also have free wifi and they have a fridge and microwave in the rooms (we bought food at the Food-4-Less, 1616 West Katella Avenue, &kept it in the fridge or made it in the microwave, good way to save money).
They have a pool and they have a Denny’s right next door if you don’t want to pay to eat at Disneyland or Downtown Disney. They also have a minimart within walking distance.
To get to the parks we walked through the Disney employees parking lot which is across the street from the hotel (look on google maps or mapquest to see).
Just a tip, make sure you bring more money then what you planned already. The cost of food in the park is really expensive (Water $3.00, Churro $6.00, Sandwich $8.00) not to mention the overpriced souverniers.
I am travelling around california for 3 weeks in january. How easy is it to book hotels on the spot?

Want to just go with the flow and not plan much. Looking for cheap accommodation all around California and nearby states. Also, does anyone know of a map or list of motels/hotels which is available to buy or download?
It’s a piece of cake. The tourist season doesn’t dramatically begin until early March with various Spring Breaks. From October through February, most hotels and motels are wide open. The gotchas are in convention areas like Anaheim and San Francisco. If a convention is going on, just go a mile or two away from the area to be back to normal, unbooked conditions.

What Hotels in Southern California have an in-room jacuzzi?
Posted by admin
Hi, I’m sure several hotels offer this amenity. Sorry, but I can’t name all of them.
Last month I stayed at the Best Western Laguna Brisas in Laguna Beach. The hotel was in a very beautiful area, and the rooms had jacuzzis. That place might be an option if you’re considering staying in the Laguna Beach area.
Are there any cheap hotels in Laguna Beach California?

I am meeting a few friends in Laguna Beach, and I am on a budget. With the $100 bus ticket and food expenses, I am needless to say looking for nothing more than four walls with a bed. Something in the $20-$40 a night range would be nice.
you are probally not going find any at that price
even hostels run up to $60.00
are there any hotels in santa cruz california where the age req. is 18 and not 21?

You are too lazy or dumb to check it out for yourself.
Do Disneyland hotels in California charge by people or rooms?
Posted by admin
Theirs five of us
Depending on what hotel your staying at it will first be by the room and then an extra fee per person that is over the maximum number allowed. Just call the hotel that you are thinking of staying at and ask their policy on stuff like that since each hotel has a different policy and each room is different as well depending on number of beds and stuff. But most likely you can just check in with the number of people they allow in each room and then have everybody stay in the one room anyways. They won’t notice since there’s so many people.

what hotels in california can you be 18?

what hotels in LA can you make reservations for and check in at the age of 18?
I’m not familiar with any in LA, but I’m sure there are some. You’ll have to call around.
If you are looking for a hotel by Disneyland where you can check in under 21, there are 3 that I know of:
The Menage
The Clarion
Red Roof Inn
The Menage has the best location, almost directly under the Disney fireworks. If you have a sensitive car alarm, the percussion of the fireworks will most likely set it off. It’s hilarious how the car alarms accompany the fireworks. The mist pool is a great place to watch them on a summer night. Keep in mind it’s an older Holiday Inn with an extensive remodel, and you have to pay for parking in their lot. However, the main feature here is the proximity to Disneyland, and the fact that you can check in if you are 18 or older.
Santa Cruz California hotels filled with bed bugs, theft, and rude service?
Posted by admin
I am taking a little trip with a friend up to Santa Cruz for a few days this summer but it looks like all the hotel reviews are really really awful and frightening.
Does anyone with actual experience living or visiting Santa Cruz know of a decent and SAFE hotel for young girls to stay? I am looking to spend no more than $115 a night (hopefully less). If all of Santa Cruz is as disgusting as it looks in the reviews online, maybe a suggestion for a place in a nearby town?
Thanks so much.
Santa Cruz is a beautiful place…ideal in the Summer. However, being a prime living & vacation spot, there is heavy Summer traffic, lots of tourists. Tourist season is now so you WILL be paying top dollar, even for a Motel 6. Stay away from Beach Flats…the area surrounding the Boardwalk. Beach Hill area (above the flats) or Downtown Santa Cruz is a safer bet. Consider anything on Ocean Street…from here you can walk to ocean, restaurants Check out University Inn on Ocean street: http: //www.santacruz.com/universityinn/ .
This is a housing facility for UCSC students, as well as hotel for the general public. So it’s safe, well lit, homey. Hope that helps….love, a local.
