This place had a layaway program, and they up and closed, leaving no information on where they went. I found them, after 2 months, they’re listed under a new name. It is called "Furniture-U-Find", and it is in Ontario, 91764. They had the information of my purchase on file, but for everyone else that had a current layaway with them, and now have no idea where they went, I hope this reaches you and helps.

I will be traveling from Portland Oregon to Palm Springs CA. It’s about 17hours and I only want
to drive about 11 or 12 hours the 1st day. So I am looking for a clean hotel in a NICE area. I don’t
want to spend a lot of money just average since I won’t be staying long. Any suggestions?
I didn’t know I picked LA but I am not trying to go there. Palm Springs is where I am trying to go.

OK, here’s the deal: 11 or 12 hours on day one puts you right in the middle of the San Joaquin Valley. The only thing there is a bunch of cheap hotels for people who couldn’t make it in one shot to LA or San Francisco. I-5 is pretty desolate, with long stretches of road with nothing to look at but crops, an occasional series of gas stations and rest stops, and cattle. Nothing really dangerous about these areas, it’s just that there’s nothing particularly nice about them.
I think the best option is to drive to Coalinga, and stay by the Harris Ranch. You can get a nice steak dinner, and you can stay at the Harris Ranch Inn. I think that there are a couple of other smallish hotels in the area, including a Motel 6 and Best Western. Go to tripadvisor.com and look up Coalinga, or just use Google maps.

For families, I recommend the Sheraton Delfina. It’s walking distance to the mall, the Third Street Promenade, the beach, and Santa Monica Pier and it’s not as pricey or upscale as the ones directly on the beach.

im trying to plan a vacation to los angeles california for my family (mainly for my husband becasue this is his first trip) but im worried about being in a bad area so i need to find a nice hotel that really says "California" in a sense lol.
First decide where you want to stay. Downtown and Santa Monica are popular choices, but there are hotels all over the city. If you aren’t going to rent a car, then I would stay downtown.

Almost every major employer will do a pre-employment background check. I can’t imagine a hotel that wouldn’t do this as part of their standard procedures when hiring someone.
Generally, you would not be disqualified as the result of an arrest, only a conviction (including if you plead "guilty" or "no contest".) In fact, many states prohibit employers from even asking about arrests.

Since LA is so spread out, there is no single place that is close to EVERYTHING. Most people who come here tend to stay in Hollywood, Santa Monica, or Anaheim. In Hollywood, I recommend the Orchid Suites, Hollywood Celebrity Hotel, or Hollywood Heights (formerly Holiday Inn Walk of Fame), all near Hollywood and Highland.
