You really picked the wrong time to go last minute, your going in the single busiest week there is in orlando….best bet is to look at hotwire or priceline….as for disney tickets unless you do a timeshare tour for them there isnt much that can be done to discount them more than a couple bucks….also you know they are $66 each now right…BUT on the upside you picked a BEAUTIFUL time to go…no crazy heat and all kinds of extra fun because of christmas…

If you’re going for a full week, I suggest you save money and book a time share at the Jockey Club or the Polo Towers directly from an owner who can’t use it this year and needs to make his annual fee. They are both on the strip. When we were there they were doing construction next door to the jockey club and they were much too noisy, but the Polo Towers was quiet and we think nicer rooms.

I am traveling to Washington and wanted to know the cheapest/best deals for Hotels?

I wanted to know what the best deals are. I searched on a travel site and got a hotel that was cheap but 12 miles away in Maryland. The hotel has a shuttle to a nearby metro station, but how far is 12 miles and is it easy to get to Washington, DC from the Metro Station to see the White House and Lincoln Memorial and all the sites. Any tips or advice appreciated.

I just got back from DC yesterday. We bought hotel tickets through priceline.com. Stayed at a four-star hotel for $88. It was approximately 15 minutes away.
As far as sightseeing, most of your monuments are within walking distance to the White House. Don’t forget to check out the Vietnam Memorial between the Lincoln Memorial and the White House. Very sobering!

We are going to Vegas in mid-March and I was wondering if we should try to book rooms last minute (a few weeks before) for the lowest rates? We aren’t terribly picky about which hotel, as long as it’s on the Strip. Does this work or do you have other suggestions? Thank you!

i’m looking to go to Plymouth from Taunton in just under 2 weeks time for a couple of nights with my partner, she went with a friend about 9 months ago for a great deal of £38 including train fare and hotel for 3 nites, where can i find something similar? as she cant remember how her friend booked it.
