What does it mean when someone is called a "bot"?
Posted by admin
I helped chaperone a class trip to Europe this past summer and I heard lots of kids use this expression, like"she is such a bot" or "he is so bot". I assumed it was used as a slam but does anyone know the meaning? Some kids from California at our hostel used it alot too.
The only time i’ve ever heard the term ‘bot’ used was on the internet in a chat room or game room. On the internet a ‘bot’ is usually a program and not an actual person. If you have ever been in a yahoo chat room and have had some random message come at you that’s usually sexually based…it’s a bot. Or on Pogo when someone’s cheating at a game…it’s a ‘bot’. In simple words….FAKE.

um, maybe they mean "bot" as in "robot?" like: they are really "robotic" or something.
That’s the only thing i’ve ever known "bot" to mean…
