best way to get good hotel deals in Vegas?
Posted by admin
I’m looking for the best source for good room rates in Vegas, including places like the Bellagio. Any advice?
Thanks! Smartvegas is very cool – the rate on that site is $70 cheaper than on the hotel’s site itself! And it redirects you to the hotel site and shows the reduced price. This idea that the hotel site will always be cheapest is bogus.
smartervegas.com. Rooms at the bellagio start at $99 per night. Expires sept. 30 2009.

The best rates for hotels will almost always be found directly on the hotels website, or through a travel agent.

do not go thru a travel agent. who does that?
directly to the hotel is cheapest becasue they have multiple deals for different times of the year. smartervegas.com has all of those deals listed. it should take you directly to the hotel website anyways.

Shop for prices on place like Expedia, TravelNow, Priceline, or whatever so you know the average rate for what you want.
Then pick up you phone and call the place direct and ask.
Now call your local Travel Agent and put them to work. They get paid to find you good deals.
Most the online stuff will have about the same rates… because most the sites are owned by the same handful of big corporations.
