For example if I stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel can I get discounts or skip the line at Body English?
Most of them do. You need to ask for VIP passes when you check in. Option 2 is you can ask for a host and request that you and your party be put on the guest list.
Hard Rock gives complimentary passes to Body English. Palms will give VIP Passes to Moon and Playboy Club.
Again, you must ask the front desk!

Check sites like expedia.com, travelocity.com and kayak.com, then go directly to the airline/hotel sites that had the best deal and repeat the search. You can usually knock a few dollars off that way. Also, be sure to check the discounters like hotwire.com, neotravel.com and travelzoo.com for good last minute deals.

How many hours will it take to travel from California to new york by plane?
At this of year the westbound trip is 5.5to 6.5+ hours and the eastbound trip is 4.5-to 5.5 hours
I personally have done LAX to JFK in an actual flight time of 4:20.
The reason for the difference in flight-times is a high altitude and sometimes very high velocity river of air called the jetstream which moves from west to east .

I want to take my wife away for Valentine’s Day weekend, and need some great ideas for unique hotels in the southern California area. My area preferences would be outside of LA, since we visit there frequently… Maybe Santa Barbara, Solvang, possibly even as far south as Carlsbad, etc.
I’m looking for something out of the ordinary; not Hilton, Marriott, etc. Something that has character! I would be willing to spend up to $300 a night for the right place.

Umm.. there is hostels here in the US. They have websites.
I have never personally stayed there, but two friends of mine did and they had a great time.
The USA Hostel is the one I would recommend in that area. It looks the safest.

There is no such thing as free or discounted tickets to Disney World. Sorry. In 2009 Disney is launching a celebration that will allow a person, on their birthday, admission to one theme park for the day. Beware of any place that offers free or discounted tickets. Disney tickets are linked to guests by their fingerprints. Disney has started this as a way of preventing tickets from being switched around. Also keep in mind that tickets expire 14 days from their first use, so even if you were to find tickets on Ebay, for example, chances are by the time you bought them, received them and got to Disney they would be expired. You will see a significant drop in price if you buy multiple days on your ticket vs just a 1 day ticket. The more days you buy, the cheaper per day the ticket becomes.
Hotels you will easily be able to find deals on. I recommend staying on Disney property because of all the perks. Just head over to Disney’s website http://www.disneyworld.com and start searching through the hotels. The value season is the cheapeast season and rooms start at $82 a night then. That is for the All-Star resorts and the Pop Century. I suggest the latter, it has it’s own bus as opposed to the All-Stars which share a bus causing overcrowding at times.
Anyone that says that ticket prices vary is wrong. Ticket prices do not fluctuate with the seasons like the hotels do.
Make sure you purchase your tickets from Disney directly, a Disney Store or a reputable travel agent.
BTW those are the absolute busiest times of the year, and you will be paying a fortune for rooms…

Hi, if my question does not seem so clear to you, what i’m saying is how long does it take to maybe travel from one end of California to another end, or maybe just from city to city. Oh and also, just if you know, Are the highways safe and have good, enjoyable, views?

I’m looking for this one hotel along the coast somewhere in mid-Califonia. I cant remember the name but I’m hoping someone can spot it out for me. I know it’s not part of any large hotel chain like the marriot, hilton and so forth.
Biltmore in Santa Barbara or the Ritz Carlton at Dana Point/Laguna Nigel. You can try Loews Santa Monica Beach Resort too. All are beautiful.

Who can recommend the best hostels/backpakers in California? I am 21yo and will be travelling 13 nights through California area, not exactly sure of my route just yet but I know I want to see Venice Beach, Hollywood, San Diego, San Fransisco……… any recommendations please? Cheers
There is a really cool youth hostel in Fullerton, Ca (Orange County..Southern California) It is an old house that sits on top of a wooded hill on Harbor Blvd behind Golfers Paradise. Short and cheap 5 minute cab ride to Downtown Fullerton which has the BEST nightlife anywhere in O.C. There are about 30+(low estimate) bars, restaurants and clubs all within walking distance to each other. It is the place to go on Thurs, Fri and Sat nights as well as for happy hours. I was born and raised in Fullerton and have never gotten sick of going to Downtown Fullerton. Fullerton is about 40 minutes from L.A. and about 1.5 hours from San Diego.
